Pelastusalus Silakka is a sailing boat built out of recycled materials. During the summer 2010 the boat was sailing around Turku archipelago in Finland, hosting  artists, scientist and critical thinkers from different backgrounds. The aim of the project is to unfold a complicated system called Baltic Sea and show some crucial factors in our culture and politics that are directly affecting the condition of the sea. The video is a short presentation of the project. The project is produced by Capsula and Bioart Society Finland and funded by AVEK and Turku2011.
